
SCA (Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget), Sweden’s leading forestry company, is a climate- and team partner of the Swedish national cross-country ski team. From the outset, Realise Communication developed the strategic plan for SCA’s sponsorship platform and manages all communication, creating activations that bring the partnership to life under the theme “Upplev skogens Kraft” (Experience the Force of the Forest).
SCA offsets up to a quarter of Sweden’s CO₂ emissions, but public awareness of forestry’s climate benefits remains low. Partnering with the Swedish ski team highlights the link between forests, energy, and health, reinforcing SCA’s climate-positive impact.

In 2024–2025, the partnership launched with high-visibility activations, including the Smart Energy Cup in Bergeforsen, directly connecting audiences with sustainable energy and forestry initiatives. In 2025–2026, the campaign expanded with film productions featuring Frida Karlsson, Moa Ilar, Gustav Berglund, and Oskar Svensson, capturing authentic training and competition moments and the skiers relation to the forest. Published on social media, these films combined cinematic storytelling, behind-the-scenes footage, and athlete narratives, achieving strong reach, high engagement, and increased audience interaction—successfully bringing SCA’s climate message and the “Experience the Force of the Forest” theme to life.
